Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) is developing Syilx data principles grounded in traditional knowledge, language, and cultural laws.

The project includes engagement with knowledge keepers and leadership, a needs assessment, and the development of a data strategy and communication materials.

This will guide how data are governed and used in ways that reflect Syilx values and priorities.
